Hello, I am Paul Novotny and this is my blog. I created this blog to give back to the open source medical image analysis community. I hope you find it useful.
Who am I?
Currently, I am a Research Scientist and co-founder of Revolute Biomedical, LLC. At Revolute, we are assisting medical researchers develop image guided surgery technologies and are always looking for new challenges and collaborators. Before founding Revolute, I worked as an Associate Scientific Researcher in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Children’s Hospital Boston, and an Instructor of Cardiac Surgery at Harvard Medical School. I received my PhD in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University where my thesis focused on real-time image processing of high-data rate medical imaging and surgical robotics.
